Vendor Self-Service

New and Existing Vendors

The City of Ormond Beach Vendor Self-Service (VSS) system enables vendors to register and maintain information about their organization for the purpose of doing business with the City. The City's procurement activities are subject to the State of Florida Public Bid Law, local city ordinances, as well as applicable federal statutes.

Any firm wishing to register to do business with the City of Ormond Beach can submit a "Vendors Registration Form" online via the City's website. Once approved, the firm will then be assigned a vendor number.

The City of Ormond Beach VSS allows you, as a payee/vendor, to manage your own account information, view your financial transactions and much more. Prior to registering, all existing vendors need to contact Procurement Office for vendor number.

Business Registration Requirements

Vendors doing business within the City Limits must be registered with the city. To see requirements for registering a business, click here. CITY BUSINESS TAX CERTIFICATE MUST BE ATTACHED WITHIN VSS WHEN REGISTERING, OR THE APPLICATION MAY NOT BE APPROVED.

New or existing vendors who need to create a VSS account, can do so by clicking on Registration. Vendors are encouraged to review the step-by-step directions (here) before beginning the registration process.

Vendors who have previously created a VSS account can access their information by Logging In.

For assistance with registration, please contact us at VSS@ormondbeach.org or (386) 676-3223.

Vendor Relations

One of the functions of the Purchasing Department is establishing and maintaining relations with firms who request to do business with the City and with firms who regularly do business with the City. Any user/vendor that develops a problem with one another and cannot satisfactorily resolve that problem, should contact the Purchasing Coordinator(s). It is City policy to be fair with all bidders and vendors, while still protecting the interests of the City.
