Environmental Discovery Center

Mission Statement

The Environmental Discovery Center's mission is to foster an awareness and appreciation of the natural environment by providing stimulating environmental education programs that inspire participants to be active stewards of their surrounding natural resources.

About the Center

The City of Ormond Beach’s Environmental Discovery Center (EDC) provides visitors with a glimpse into the diverse ecosystems of Ormond Beach, specifically Central Park. This 2,000 square foot facility is designed to be self-guided. The building serves as a hub for the programming and special events that will immerse visitors in these ecosystems and provide hands-on education.
