Police Athletic League - PAL

The Police Athletic League of Ormond Beach (OBPAL) was established in 1996 to foster and encourage the development of positive relationships between our youth, officers and community members. Through active participation in Police Athletic League programs children, teens and young adults in the Ormond Beach community are able to build team-working and communication skills that help develop a solid foundation for the future.

Each year approximately 800 children, teens and families participate in OBPAL's outstanding programs and special events. OBPAL youth programs have been recognized for excellence through numerous awards including the State of Florida Association of Police Athletic League Youth of the Year Awards, National Association of Police Athletic Leagues Youth of the Year Awards, and most recently one of the top business partnership awards from Volusia County Schools, The Business Partner of the Year Award. In 2012 OBPAL was recognized by the Florida Department of Education for educational program partnerships at Ormond Beach Elementary and received the Commissioner Business Recognition Award (CBRA).

The Police Athletic League of Ormond Beach provides a safe and positive environment for youth to participate in activities that nuture the creative spirit, challenge the mind and strengthen the body. Each participant is encouraged to develop skills that will allow growth and lead to healthy life choices.
