Internet-Based Vendor List & Bidding System
On February 15, 2000, the City of Ormond Beach began using the services of Onvia Inc. (formerly DemandStar Inc.) to maintain the City’s vendor database and issue Invitations to Bid (ITB) and Requests for Proposal (RFP). Vendors and suppliers wishing to remain on, or be added to, the City’s Vendor Database and obtain up-to-the-minute information regarding the City’s ITBs and RFPs are strongly encouraged to sign up on the Onvia DemandStar system.
Vendors may register to receive notification of solicitations for bids, proposals, and quotes from the City of Ormond Beach, free of charge. There is no charge for documents that are electronically downloaded from the website by Onvia DemandStar members with subscriptions that include the City of Ormond Beach in their subscription service territory. There is a fee of $5 per package for documents that are electronically downloaded by Onvia DemandStar members without subscriptions that include the City of Ormond Beach in their subscription service territory.
Onvia DemandStar offers several subscription choices to vendors / suppliers. You may sign up to receive bid proposal and quote solicitation notifications from public purchasing entities that use Onvia DemandStar for their procurement processes. The yearly subscription fee is based upon the service offering that the vendor selects.
