Welcome to the City of Ormond Beach’s online services for Building Permits. This service has several functions available to the public, homeowners, and contractors. Please note: You must have email to use Online Services, and your browser (Explorer, Netscape, etc.) must be capable of 128-bit encryption to ensure your security. Please verify this with your software manufacturer or internet service provider if you have trouble accessing the Online Services, and upgrade your browser if necessary. Go to Building Permits (and garage sale permits). User Services: You can view public building application/permit information for those applications/permits issued by the City. Information is available to the public by entering the application/permit number. You can view information about the application such as fees, plan tracking, and inspections. This information feature does not require a PIN number. You can request or cancel inspections and view the results online. This feature requires the use of the PIN number, which is located on your building permit. You can pay for permits and re-inspection fees online by credit card. This feature requires the application/permit number, which is printed on your permit or available from the building department. (Please note that due to various requirements, the city does not accept applications for other than garage sale permits on line.) You can apply and pay for garage sale permits online by credit card. This automated feature issues a permit number and a receipt. Please note that by paying for the permit, a $5 fee, you are agreeing to abide by the requirements for a garage sale as stated in the city code. Questions regarding garage sale permits should be directed to the Finance Department at 676-3209. Applications for building permits, licenses and other forms are available online. Please select the application form you need, complete it, and forward it to City Hall, Building and Inspections, 22 South Beach Street, Ormond Beach, with the required plans/documentation. You can pay for tree removal permits by credit card. Call the Finance office at 676-3209. Tree removal permit requests require an inspection. Please call the Neighborhood Improvement Division at 676-3352. |
