The
badge logo, pictured, was created to memorialize fallen Ormond Beach Police
Officer Bob Grim who lost his life in the line of duty on November 12th, 2004.
The logo has been produced in a weatherproof decal which is being sold to the
public. The proceeds from the sale of these decals will go to the Robert F. Grim
Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund benefits deserving candidates who are
interested in becoming certified as law enforcement officers through the
Criminal Justice Institute at Daytona Beach Community College. Further details
and criteria regarding the scholarship program will be published at a later
date.
The decals may be purchased for $5.00 each inside the main lobby of the Ormond
Beach Police Department located at 170 W. Granada Bv. Citizens are encouraged to
purchase and display these decals in the memory of Officer Grim and to support
this worthy cause.
These decals will also be affixed to all marked Ormond Beach patrol vehicles in
honor of Officer Grim.
