The Budget Office is a support service of city government responsible for coordinating and directing the development of the city's Annual Operating Budget and Five Year Capital Improvement Program, monitoring revenues and expenditures, developing and maintaining a performance outcome system for all city departments, conducting analyses of city operations, and providing information to the City Manager, elected officials and city staff.  For more information, please contact Kelly McGuire, Budget Director, at 676-3226.

The Purchasing Office is responsible for overseeing a decentralized purchasing system that involves reviewing and processing purchase orders over $500, obtaining price quotes to ensure competitive bidding in accordance with city purchasing thresholds, coordinating and developing formal bids and requests for proposals and ensuring overall compliance with the city's Purchasing Ordinance and industry-accepted purchasing standards.

Capital Improvements Program

The updated Five-Year Capital Improvements Program (CIP) for the fiscal year 2007-08 through 2011-12. (808 KB PDF file)

 

The CIP reflects the essential capital needs of the city and includes major projects ($25,000 and over) that the City Commission expressed an interest in funding during their annual CIP workshops.
