The Human Resources Board advises the City Commission and the Human Resources Director on problems concerning human resources administration; hears appeals regarding suspensions, demotions or terminations and performance ratings; and assists in the establishment a uniform performance rating system to all employees in the classified service. The Board consists of five members who are appointed by the City Commission. The Board meets quarterly in the City Hall Training Room, and the staff liaison is the Human Resources Director. The Board is governed by Section 2-214 of the Code of Ordinances.
