The Historic Landmark Preservation Board (HLPB) acts as an advisory board to the City Commission on the designation of historic properties and archaeological sites within the City of Ormond Beach, and the designation of historic districts. The Board authorizes the permitting of specified alterations, demolitions or other work to a designated historic landmark, historic site, or for a contributing property within a designated historic district. The Board consists of seven members who are appointed by the City Commission to serve terms of two years.
